Trellis is everywhere. This fanciful pattern can be used in many ways. Here are my favorite uses for this bold pattern.
When designing with trellis, keep your room simple and let the pattern be the star. There are so many great colors available in this pattern. Consider the impact you are going for when selecting your color. Light greens and aquas will be softer than bright pink or orange.

Wallcovering can really transform a space with the use of color and pattern. The pattern you select can set the mood of the room and inspire your room’s style or design. Using a large scale pattern, while keeping the rest of the room simple, will have the most impact. Here are a few of my favorite wallcoverings from Thibaut. They have some great colors! Thibaut’s patterns are available in fabric too, if wallcovering is not your thing.

Benjamin Moore has unveiled their color of the year, Vintage Wine #2116-20. This deep hue is best used as an accent. Shown above, this nook is given a cozy feel by just painting one wall with this rich color. (A nice departure from the usual “white mudroom” look.) This color is warm and welcoming. Not up for painting?…Here are some other ways to bring this sophisticated color into your own home.
